We’re looking for experienced, highly motivated, self-directed candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills for Patrol Deputy (Lateral, Experienced).
This recruitment is for experienced law-enforcement professionals only. It’s open to applicants who are currently or have been certified as a basic police officer within the last five (5) years and have completed at least eighteen (18) months of law-enforcement experience as a uniformed civilian peace officer. Oregon Department of Standards and Training (DPSST) maintains authority to determine acceptable lateral transfer of out of state certification to Oregon.
You must pass the Frontline exam (unless you’re DPSST-certified or possess a bachelor’s degree or higher) as well as a background investigation, post-offer pre-employment drug test, and physical and psychological exams.

Annual Pay Range: $78,666.65 - $100,738.16

Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:
Must be currently or have been certified as a basic police officer for at least eighteen (18) months within the last five (5) years.
Must be at least 21 years of age by date of hire.
Must be a United States citizen or be one within eighteen (18) months of hire.
Must be free from criminal convictions other than minor traffic violations.
Experience thinking clearly and performing effectively in stressful or emergency situations.
Experience communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
Must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate of high school equivalency (or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution).
Must pass the Frontline exam through National Testing Network (unless currently DPSST certified or possess a bachelor's degree or higher.
Visual and Hearing Acuity: Must meet the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training requirements as detailed in Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) 2590080000.
Must be able to be certified as a Civilian Police Officer/Deputy by the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training.
Must meet the Minimum Standards for Employment as a Law Enforcement Officer as provided for in Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) 2590080010.

A Safe Place Family Justice Center

A Safe Place Family Justice Center (ASP-FJC) is looking to fill an Office Specialist 2 position.
The Family Justice Center provides comprehensive support and services to individuals and families experiencing family violence, sexual violence, stalking, human trafficking and elder abuse. ASP-FJC comprises 11 public and non-profit on-site partners co-located under one roof, providing trauma-informed, wrap-around services free of charge.
This position is responsible for being the first point of contact for victims accessing services in-person and answering the main phone lines. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing hospitality and connecting victims to the appropriate service provider.
The most competitive candidates will be flexible and adaptive, have experience assisting victims and providing them with support and working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.

Our Parole & Probation Division is currently recruiting qualified individuals to fill a Work Crew Specialist position.
The Work Crew Specialist leads, motivates and counsels work crews, including adult clients who owe restitution and are sanctioned and/or assigned community service by a judge.
Work crews perform manual landscape maintenance tasks throughout Clackamas County. The Work Crew Specialist performs manual labor with crews and emulates good work habits and performance.

PAY:
$26.30 - $33.11 Hourly
This is a part-time and not a seasonal position. Temporary, part-time employees work less than 30 hours a week during a standard workweek of Saturday through Friday.
Specific hours of work will be discussed with the candidate selected for this position at the time an offer of employment is extended.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of one (1) year of experience performing landscape maintenance
This experience must include a minimum of one (1) year experience leading and/or coordinating the work of others
Knowledge and ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs to small engine tools such as mowers, edgers, chainsaws and chippers
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, which include strenuous physical labor, exposure to adverse weather conditions and hazardous locations
Ability to emulate productivity, good work habits and performance and safety compliance
Must have the ability to safely operate a 15-passenger van
Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
